A loose and flowing dress, with a mandarin style V-neckline, elbow length short sleeves.  Top half features buttons down the front and, with vertical pleating for a gathered look throughout, and 2 pockets (landing on the hip).  Horizontal stripe and ruffle detail on the bottom half, finishing at knee length (or just below).
