J. Fenton Linen Woman is a woman owned company that sells clothing and accessories for women, with an emphasis on the comfortable, flattering, and fashionable FLAX-brand linen collections.

We have retail stores in Virginia, on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville and Merchants Square, in Williamsburg. We have been serving our customers since 1981, originally as antique quilt dealers, with a love of textiles and traditional crafts, and then evolving into stores that primarily focus on clothing and accessories for women. We have featured FLAX clothing in our shops since 2005.

But we sell so much more than FLAX, and our out of town visitors keep asking if they can find some of our other products on our web site. This year, we have begun to feature some of the most popular items online, and we plan to feature even more in 2025!
